Membrane System

The Permeable System – also known as a low impulse system - is based on the passive thermal
displacement principle where the air is supplied at sub-temperature compared with the room temperature.
The cold air slowly drops towards the floor, and the airflow in the room is subsequently based on natural
air movements.

A low impulse system can only be applied for cooling or for the distribution of large quantities of
isothermal air since heated air will accumulate under the ceiling as a blanket thus forming risk of short
circuit.

For heating purposes we recommend our High Impulse or Hybrid System.
